In the fall of 2018, the student council approached staff about becoming a Unified Sports school. As immediate enthusiasm grew, the lightbulb went off in our heads and we immediately committed to a unified show choir. That is when Unity, Inc. was born. In that first year, the group performed choreography for the school at Honor’s Fest of 2019 and the crowd leaped to its feet. In 2020, the group participated in its first competition, was the subject of an interest session at the 2020 MWACDA Conference, and won the 2020 National Unified for Inclusion Award from the PACER’s National Bullying Prevention Center. What followed was schools from all over the Midwest reaching out and asking, “How do we start this at our school?” We are so happy to say this 7th season has been the best yet with a total participation of 105 students!

Cost for costume and music is $30. Cash or Check made out to RHS CHOIRS can be sent to school with students during any rehearsal.
